Come in a journey with us … a journey in which we will try to discover the things we know and the things we don’t know about the country we live in, about the country we come from, about the countries our friends or our parents come from…. Who knows, maybe in this journey we will discover things that we didn’t know about ourselves
Note: Due to the emphasis given in understanding cultural differences, these workshops can be very helpful for children that don’t have Greek nationality or that their parents come from different cultures.

Many children struggle through school due to learning disabilities like dyslexia. Dyslexia makes it hard for children to learn how to read and/or spell and/or write. It can have an effect on children’s concentration or his /her socialization is school. Dyslexic children very often fill disappointed, lonely and misunderstood. This is due to the difference in the way that children with dyslexia learn.
In the workshop “I have dyslexia, so what!” through group discussions and experiential exercises children learn:
- To recognize and value their differences
- To recognize and strengthen their strong points
- To share their emotions and worries with their peers
In this program children are not taught learning techniques. Our goal is to help children feel good about themselves… because it is very important for young people to feel good with themselves and with all the things that make them different from others.
