Center of Experiential & Cooperative Learning
We dreamt of a place where children, adolescents and grownups can co-exist, and learn from each other. A place where cooperation, warmth, trust, learning and personal development can coexist.
In a somewhat inflexible educational system where school and lessons seem many times torturous both for students as well as teachers, we decided to attempt a small step towards change – to learn, to discover new and fun ways of approaching and teaching children, to talk about troubling issues and together search for solutions.
This is why we decided to create in Paiania-Greece the “Centre for Experiential and Co-operative learning: Open School”. A Centre which we hope will become a meeting point for the exchange of views, dialogue, research and mutual support.
